Privacy Policy

Information you enter

To draw a birth chart, you enter details such as a name (or label), date, time and place of birth. This information:

• is stored only on your device, in the app's local storage;
• is used only to compute your charts and readings on the device;
• is never sent to us or to any third party;
• is never used for advertising or analytics.

You can delete any saved chart at any time from within the app, and you can export/import your own charts as a local backup file that stays under your control.

What we do NOT do

• We do not operate servers that receive your data.
• We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
• We do not collect device identifiers, contacts, location history, or usage profiles.
• We do not require you to create an account or log in.

Permissions

• Notifications (optional): used only to show on-device reminders (e.g. a transit alert) that the app generates locally. No data leaves the device.
• Location (optional): if you grant it, it is used only to fill in a place for a chart cast "now"; it is not stored beyond that chart and is never transmitted. You can decline it and enter places manually.

The app does not require internet access to perform its astrological calculations.

Payment information

Jyotisha is sold as a one-time paid app through Google Play. All payment details (card numbers, billing address, etc.) are collected and processed entirely by Google Play — we never see or store your payment information.

Children

The app is a general-audience reference tool and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be reflected in an app update.
